  1. One connected job. Office to Field to installation.

Welcome to MeasureClose. See how Main Office and the Android Field app connect a flooring project from first conversation to installation. This is a fictional demonstration.

  2. MAIN — Create the lead

Start in Main by recording the lead's contact details and project needs.

  3. MAIN — Find a time that works

Choose the estimator, check live availability, and schedule the customer visit.

  4. MAIN — One customer, a connected project

The customer hub keeps each project connected to the same customer.

  5. MAIN — Review the imported house plan

A house plan provides a starting point. We reviewed the scale and corrected the doorway outlines manually. These four areas total five hundred seventy-six square feet. Imported plans need review.

  6. MAIN — Save the checked starting drawing

Save the checked drawing for Field, while retaining earlier versions. Reference plans support preparation, but measurements still need verification at the job site.

  7. FIELD — Build the room wall by wall

On the tablet, draw the room wall by wall. Watch the length as you move, or use the side keypad to enter the exact measurement.

  8. FIELD — Close and save the room

Review the closing wall and save the room. Dimensions sit inside the walls, keeping adjoining rooms easier to read.

  9. FIELD — Record what is there

Record the existing flooring, subfloor, baseboards, furniture and other room conditions.

  10. FIELD — Different rooms, different materials

Assign different materials to different rooms: carpet here, and luxury vinyl in the dining area.

  11. FIELD — Define each installation scope

Define the installation scope for each room group. Flooring systems and room conditions help organize the work. Review preparation, removal, trim and other requirements before building the offer.

  12. FIELD — Select the exact product

Select the exact product from the downloaded catalog. Review the estimate's quantities, costs, selling prices, taxes and margins. Manual lines let you include work that needs its own description and price.

  13. FIELD — Review the carpet cut layout

For carpet, inspect the saved cut layout, seams and roll usage. Review placement and waste before adopting the layout for the estimate.

  14. FIELD — Present the selected scope

Preview the customer proposal and check that it presents the intended scope. These demonstration prices are fictional.

  15. FIELD — Review tax and the total

Review tax and the final total before approval. This original offer totals four thousand nine dollars and thirty-three cents.

  16. MAIN — Confirm the Field work arrived

Save Project on the tablet, then use Sync All when connected. Main shows the received rooms and revision.

  17. MAIN — Review the saved room drawing

Office can review the received drawing and room conditions, keeping the field work connected to the project.

  18. FIELD — Preserve the approved document

The original proposal carries visible demonstration signatures. Its signed PDF stays with the project, preserving what was approved.

  19. MAIN — The signed amounts stay intact

Main retains the signed total, including the saved tax and minimum installation charge.

  20. FIELD — Confirm the same saved total

The tablet shows the same signed amount. Later offers remain separate revisions.

  21. Revise the offer. Keep the signed history.

Create a new offer when the scope changes, while preserving the original signed agreement.

  22. FIELD — A new offer with staged payments

This unsigned revision is above five thousand dollars. Its payment schedule shows a fifty-percent deposit and fifty-percent balance, with the final cent allocated by rounding.

  23. CUSTOMER — Review the same proposal online

The customer can review the proposal online, with the same total, tax and payment schedule. Office and customer are looking at the same offer.

  24. CUSTOMER — Approval is an explicit action

Approval is an explicit customer action. This revised demonstration offer remains unsigned.

  25. Customer approval and payment links

After approval, payment links support the next step using the company's configured methods. We omit checkout here to keep banking information private. No payment is made in this demonstration.

  26. MAIN — Keep the saved carpet decisions

Office can inspect the saved carpet layout. Attachments for the signed job retain that agreement's layout and cut decisions.

  27. PRODUCTION — Prepare the crew’s work order

Production prepares a separate crew work order with labor scope, instructions and selected attachments. This demonstration work order remains an unsent draft.

  28. PRODUCTION — Give the crew an ordered scope

The work-order PDF gives the crew an organized sequence of tasks, job details and special instructions, with the crew's pay lines.

  29. INSTALLER — The room drawing travels with the job

The selected room drawing travels with the job, including customer identification and wall dimensions inside the rooms.

  30. INSTALLER — Keep the saved cut decisions

The carpet attachment carries the saved room seams, roll placement and cut schedule, so installation instructions follow the reviewed layout.

  31. INSTALLER — Record conditions before and after work

An optional customer condition and sign-off sheet provides space for existing damage, customer initials, cleanup, outstanding work and final sign-off.

  32. OFFICE + INSTALLER — A practical job checklist

A separate installer and Office checklist supports preparation, installation and closeout. These are blank demonstration forms, not a claim that installation has been completed.

  33. Main Office: keep the job together.

Main Office brings leads, customers, appointments, Field receipts, proposals and production together. Multiple projects stay under one customer. Office reviews the saved scope before preparing the crew's paperwork.

  34. Field: measure, estimate and present.

Field connects measured rooms, conditions, products and estimates. Review options, quantities, prices, tax and margins, then present the proposal. Save locally and sync with Main when connected.

  35. Coming next: first-release readiness.

Next comes first-release readiness: real Office and tablet testing, provider checks and recovery verification. Planned directions include verified laser support, company onboarding and hosting, followed by phased accounting and integration work.
